Bodos form around 32% of the population in Bodoland. The rest of the population comprises:^[10]

• Bengali-speaking Muslims who forms 19% of the total population.
• Adivasi communities, including Santhals, Gonds and Kurukh who forms 17% of the total population.
• Koch Rajbongshis who forms 16% of the total population.
• Other communities includes Bengali Hindus, Nepalis, Caste Assamese, Sarania Kacharis, Rabha tribe who forms 16% of the total population.
